Biography
Hayao Miyazaki, a Japanese animator, filmmaker, screenwriter, and author, was born on January 5, 1941, in Bunkyo, Tokyo, Japan. He attended Gakushuin University, where he studied political science and economics. However, his true calling was in the world of animation.
