The Rookie

"The Rookie" is based on the true story of Jim Morris, a high school baseball coach with a buried dream of playing in the major leagues. When his players challenge him to try out for the big leagues, Morris makes a deal: if they win district, he'll try out. Following his team's success, Morris tries out for the Tampa Bay Devil Rays and earns a spot on the team at the age of 35. The movie follows Morris as he navigates the challenges of being a rookie in the major leagues and inspires others to never give up on their dreams.
