
The Outsiders
"The Outsiders" is a 1983 American drama film directed by Francis Ford Coppola. The movie is based on the novel of the same name by S.E. Hinton and follows the rivalry between two gangs, the Greasers and the Socs, in 1960s Oklahoma. The film features a cast of up-and-coming young actors, including C. Thomas Howell, Rob Lowe, Matt Dillon, Tom Cruise, and Patrick Swayze.
