The Mangler

"The Mangler" (1995) is a horror film directed by Tobe Hooper based on a short story by Stephen King. The movie centers around a possessed industrial laundry machine that begins to gruesomely murder people in a small town. When a police detective (played by Ted Levine) investigates the strange deaths, he uncovers a dark secret involving the machine's origins and a sinister force controlling it.
