The Last Emperor

'The Last Emperor' is a biographical historical drama film directed by Bernardo Bertolucci, released in 1987. It tells the story of Pu Yi, the last Emperor of China, from his early childhood as the ruler of the Qing Dynasty to his life as a puppet emperor under the Chinese Communist Party. The film won nine Academy Awards, including Best Picture and Best Director.
