Sudden Fear

"Sudden Fear" is a 1952 film noir thriller starring Joan Crawford as a successful playwright named Myra Hudson who falls in love with a charming actor named Lester Blaine, played by Jack Palance. However, Myra soon discovers that Lester may have ulterior motives, leading to a tense and suspenseful game of deception and betrayal. As Myra becomes aware of the danger she's in, the movie builds towards a thrilling climax where she must outsmart her manipulative husband to survive.
