Out of Africa

"Out of Africa" is a 1985 epic romantic drama film directed by Sydney Pollack. It stars Meryl Streep and Robert Redford. The movie is based on the autobiographical book by Isak Dinesen, which recounts her time in Africa. Set in colonial Kenya, it tells the story of a Danish baroness who runs a coffee plantation and her love affair with a big-game hunter. The film won several Academy Awards, including Best Picture.
