Moontrap
In "Moontrap" released in 1989, astronauts discover an ancient alien spaceship on the moon which holds a deadly secret. As they bring it back to Earth, they unwittingly awaken an alien cyborg that threatens humanity. The main characters must race against time to stop the cyborg and save the planet from destruction.
